PhilanthroPhilippines was founded on December 10, 2017, in Sacramento, California, with a simple yet powerful mission: to uplift Filipino communities in times of crisis and need. Inspired by the legacy of Andrew Carnegie, one of history's most impactful philanthropists, we are committed to using compassion and resources to build a better future for those with less. We believe that giving is more than an act of charity—it’s a responsibility. That belief drives everything we do.

Sending aid from my living room, 2017 — where it all started.
In 2017, just one year after graduating from Luther Burbank High School in Sacramento, I set out with a dream: to build both a business and a nonprofit—one to generate income, and the other to give back. While the business is still in development, I didn’t want to wait to start helping. So I launched PhilanthroPhilippines first, because there’s never a perfect time to make a difference—only a right time.
I chose the Philippines because one US dollar, when converted to pesos, can stretch incredibly far in supporting those in need. Inspired by Andrew Carnegie’s legacy of philanthropy, I believe that giving is not just an act of kindness—it’s a responsibility.
